Job Description
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Business Development
* Identify and appoint new pharmaceutical companies for distribution.
* Expand business in assigned territories.
* Develop new institutional and hospital business.
* Identify new growth opportunities and specialty segments.
2. Hospital & Institutional Marketing
* Meet corporate hospitals, purchase managers, pharmacy heads, and administrators.
* Develop long-term relationships with hospitals and institutions.
* Participate in tenders and institutional supply opportunities.
* Increase product penetration in key hospitals.
3. Company Relationship Management
* Maintain strong relationships with pharmaceutical companies.
* Negotiate commercial terms, schemes, and support.
* Coordinate new product launches.
* Resolve supply and service issues.
4. Sales Planning & Execution
* Prepare monthly and quarterly sales plans.
* Achieve sales and collection targets.
* Monitor branch-wise sales performance.
* Implement promotional campaigns.
5. Product Management
* Promote high-margin and specialty products.
* Focus on fast-moving products.
* Reduce slow-moving and non-moving inventory through marketing initiatives.
* Coordinate with procurement for stock planning.
6. Team Management
* Lead and guide branch marketing executives.
* Conduct regular sales meetings.
* Train staff on products and selling skills.
* Review individual performance and set targets.
7. Market Intelligence
* Monitor competitor pricing and availability.
* Identify new product opportunities.
* Collect market feedback from doctors, hospitals, and retailers.
* Report market trends to management.
8. Customer Relationship Management
* Visit key customers regularly.
* Resolve customer complaints promptly.
* Ensure high customer satisfaction.
* Improve customer retention.
9. Financial Responsibilities
* Monitor outstanding payments.
* Coordinate with the accounts team for collections.
* Improve profitability through better product mix.
* Ensure achievement of collection targets.
10. Reporting
* Submit daily visit reports.
* Prepare weekly sales analysis.
* Present monthly business review reports.
* Track KPIs and branch performance.

Qualification
* Bachelor’s degree (B.Pharm, B.Sc., B.Com, or equivalent)
* MBA in Marketing preferred
* 5–10 years of experience in pharmaceutical distribution or pharma marketing
* Strong knowledge of specialty and critical care products
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
