Job Description
Job Summary
The Operations Associate is responsible for the smooth functioning of daily theater operations. You will ensure guests have a great movie experience, manage show operations, and coordinate with F&B, ticketing, and housekeeping teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Guest Experience
- Greet guests and ensure smooth entry, seating, and exit
- Handle guest complaints and provide quick resolution
- Maintain high standards of customer service
2. Show Operations
- Coordinate with projection team for timely start of shows
- Manage auditorium allocation, crowd control, and seating
- Ensure cleanliness of lobbies, auditoriums, and restrooms
3. F&B & Concessions
- Monitor F&B counters for stock, speed, and hygiene
- Ensure upselling of combos and promotions
- Track wastage and inventory
4. Ticketing & POS
- Support box office and online ticket coordination
- Handle cash management and POS operations as needed
- Check for black marketing and duplicate tickets
5. Safety & Compliance
- Follow safety protocols, emergency evacuation procedures
- Ensure all SOPs, brand guidelines are followed
- Coordinate with security for any incidents
6. Reporting & Teamwork
- Share daily show reports, occupancy, and issues with Manager
- Support in staff training and roster management
- Work in coordination with Manager, Usher, F&B, and Housekeeping teams
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: 10th pass / Any Graduate preferred
- Experience: 0-1 years in Retail, Hospitality, QSR, or Theater operations. Freshers welcome
- Skill:
- Good communication in English + Local language [Telugu/Hindi]
- Customer handling and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer + POS knowledge
- Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Traits: Energetic, presentable, team player, calm under pressure
