Job Title: Warehouse Order Picker for Mens Wear
Department: Warehouse Operations
Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor / Warehouse In-Charge
Job Summary
The Warehouse Order Picker is responsible for accurately picking customer orders from warehouse inventory, ensuring the correct quantity and quality of products, and preparing them for packing and dispatch. The role requires attention to detail, speed, and adherence to company safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Pick products according to pick lists, sales orders, or handheld scanner instructions.
Verify item codes, sizes, colors, quantities, and product quality before dispatch.
Ensure orders are picked accurately and within the required timelines.
Place picked items in designated packing or dispatch areas.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse racks and work areas.
Report damaged, missing, or incorrect inventory to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) and warehouse inventory procedures.
Assist with stock counting, cycle counts, and inventory audits when required.
Handle products carefully to avoid damage during picking and movement.
Follow all warehouse safety rules and company SOPs.
Support loading and unloading activities when required.
Perform any other warehouse-related duties assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications
Minimum qualification: 10th Pass / Intermediate (preferred).
0–2 years of experience in warehouse operations (Freshers can also apply).
Basic reading and counting skills.
Experience using barcode scanners or WMS is an added advantage.
Skills Required
Good attention to detail.
Ability to work quickly and accurately.
Basic knowledge of warehouse operations.
Teamwork and communication skills.
Physically fit to lift, carry, and move goods.
Ability to work under pressure and meet daily targets.
Working Conditions
Work in a warehouse environment.
Standing, walking, bending, and lifting products throughout the shift.
May require overtime during peak business periods.
