Job Description – Sales & Support Executive
For Locations: Hyderabad, Warangal, Kurnool, Kadapa, Vijayawada, Vizag, Bangalore, Raichur.
Role Purpose
Drive insurance sales, renewals, customer engagement, compliance, and documentation at the store/branch level.
Reporting
• Reports to Area Manager Retail Operations
Financial Perspective
• Achieve ₹1 lakh monthly net premium per store.
• Support cross-sell/upsell across Motor, Health, Life & OPD.
• Convert walk-in and KYC-call leads.
Customer Perspective
• Renewal retention targets: CV 40%, PV 60%, Two-Wheeler 40%.
• Promote OPD and preferred market products.
• Minimum 50 policy conversions per month.
• Drive long-term 2W 5-year renewal growth (50%).
• Encourage usage of digital channels.
Internal Business Process
• Maintain documentation hygiene and achieve target audit rating.
• Provide daily MIS updates: PV/CV/TW/LT/Tractor/Life/OPD.
• Track renewal pipeline and highlight potential risks.
Learning & Growth
• Complete insurer certifications (Minimum 12 / Gurucool 6).
• Participate in IRDAI and internal compliance training.
Compliance
• Maintain 90%+ KYC compliance.
• Verify all customer documentation.
• Adhere to IRDAI Corporate Agent code of conduct.
Skills & Qualifications
• Knowledge of motor, health, and life insurance products.
• Customer-centric with strong communication skills.
• Graduate with 1–3 years of insurance or retail experience.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office and computer applications.
Gender Preference
• Open to both male and female candidates.
Key Responsibilities
• Generate insurance business by collecting leads from store teams and converting them into insurance policies.
• Drive store-level business activation and contribute to overall insurance business growth.
• Ensure timely response to AMROs and complete all assigned store activations within the defined timelines.
• Achieve a minimum premium of ₹50,000 per store activation during the initial months and progressively increase it to ₹1,00,000 per store per month.
• Proactively call HNI farmers and work on the AMRO area renewal base to maximize policy renewals and conversions.
• Convert walk-in customers and KYC-generated leads into insurance business.
• Promote Motor, Health, Life, and other insurance products to customers.
• Create and manage WhatsApp groups to announce Insurance Daily Champion, Weekly Champion, and Star of the Month.
• Travel with AMROs wherever possible to strengthen on-ground execution and improve business performance.
• Build strong and collaborative working relationships with AMROs, Store Teams, and other internal stakeholders.
• Update the daily MIS consistently through the prescribed MIS link.
• Actively participate in monthly store meetings to review performance and drive business achievements.
• Participate in farmer meetings to promote insurance products and create customer awareness.
• Ensure all product-related queries are routed to and resolved through the respective SPOC.
• Ensure timely follow-up and resolution of claims-related matters.
• Support POSP code creation for store team members who are yet to be onboarded.
• Facilitate external POSP hiring wherever relevant contacts are available.
• Maintain complete documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and IRDAI guidelines.
• Track renewal opportunities and work towards achieving renewal retention targets.
• Support cross-selling and upselling of Motor, Health, Life, and OPD insurance products.
• Maintain accurate customer records, documentation, and daily reporting.
